720 Lady Sofa
720 is the sofa flanked historical armchair designed by Marco Zanuso for Cassina. With different degrees of padding in the seat, back and arms, depending on the support needs that exerts the pressure of the body, ensures maximum comfort.
Seat and back in steel, armrests in poplar plywood. Padding in CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. steel bases in three colors / finishes: painted matt basalt, brass and black chrome. Fabric or leather fixed cover. Feet in black plastic material. 720 Lady armchair is an icon of modern design and Made in Italy. Presented at the IX Triennale in Milan in 1951 - where he won among others the gold medal - this chair is a symbol of modernity since it was the result of an important technical / innovation material (foam and sprung with nastrocord together) that, inverting the traditional system of production of upholstered furniture, included a realization of the separate parts and their subsequent assembly.
