Babela Chair
The chair Babela was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Tacchini. The lining is 100% polyester fabric, wooden structure, polyurethane padding.
Babela was born in 1958 to give comfort at the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, and 'designed to combine comfort and stacking. The same concept has been taken up for contemporary environments, but with a fundamental change: the structure, rather than 'iron as in the original project, and' hot ash wood. And 'easily transportable and can be used to create long lines thanks to the intelligent armrest design that allows tiling of one chair to another.
