Bisel 04 Table

Bisel table is part of the homonymous collection designed by Patricia Urquiola for Glas Italia. Crystal layers of different colors, superimposed and with unusual geometries, create hypnotic plays of light and transparencies. The Bisel series wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2020 in the Furniture category.

Bisel Collection includes low tables, high tables and consoles available in two chromatic games, ocher or green. The bevel of the edges brings out the different shades in transparency, drawing very precious furnishing jewels of different designs from each other. By layering five sheets of 5 mm extralight glass with films of different colors, the multilayer crystal is then shaped in different shapes, polished and faceted. The various components are then welded together thanks to special gluing techniques. The important designer is not new to this kind of work with the company Glas Italia, the play of lights and colors of these furnishing elements creates a very recognizable signature of their collaboration.

You can change your mind
