Founded in 1903, the company initially started out as KLLF, Kjøbenhavns Lampe- og Lysekronefabrik (Copenhagen Lamp and Chandelier Factory). In the 1930s it changed its name to LYFA. One of the brand's founding principles has always been to bring new lights to everyday life, designed for all occasions. Their designs are carefully thought down to the smallest details, always following the traditional Danish lighting concepts and a sustainable approach.
