Konstantin Grcic's design combines formal strictness, intellectual humour and dynamism.
Born in Munich in 1965, Konstantin Grcic studied Design at the Royal College of Art (London), and Furniture Design at the John Makepeace School (Dorset, England). In 1991 in Munich he started the Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID) studio where he created furniture, lighting and home decor in collaboration with renowned international brands. Some of his products are currently exhibited in important museums such as the MoMA in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
