Maurizio Cattelan (Padua, 1960) is an Italian designer, known for his extravagant, provocative design with a strong emotional charge. His works conceal great meanings behind a veil of irony, arousing curiosity and amazement. Just think of the great L.O.V.E. sculpture in the shape of a middle finger in front of the Palazzo degli Affari in Milan, made of Carrara marble. He also signs the Toilet Paper series for Seletti, bringing his original character to home accessories.
