The history of Ercol is the story of a company that has cleverly managed to mix the British style with the quality of Made in Italy. Founded in 1920 in High Wickham, in northern London by the Italian Lucian Ercolani, almost 100 years later the company still belongs to the same family.

With its wooden furniture, almost always solid, the name Ercol has become synonymous with functionality and design, with a strong English accent. At Ercol wood is worked with traditional carpentry techniques, but also with old-fashioned machinery. Products with an essential design, with smoothed lines that highlight the wood's idenity, whether it be elm, oak, do, or walnut, are among the distinctive traits of the brand.

Von Ercol

Ercol furniture meets the needs of contemporary environments: from the home to the office up to the hospitality sector. Their design bears the signature of names such as Paola Navone, Matthew Hilton, Tomoko Azumi and Hylnur Atlason. But let's now discover all the forms of the new Ercol collections.

With the Originals collection, Ercol honors its origins as an element of continuity between the present and the past. Designed in the '40s and' 50s by Lucian Ercolani, the Originals collection includes chairs, tables, upholstered furniture with a versatile and timeless design. The Windsor chair is part of the Originals, with a backrest made of steam-curved ash. The Butterfly chair is the Ercol icon, with a sculpted carved seat in elm, as well as the shaped wing-shaped backrest.

Romana Ercol

The Loveseat bench has a shallow seat that makes it suitable for any environment and an essential but appealing design. The collection also includes other quality products such as the Drop Leaf table, a round table with folding wings, and Nest tables, a triptych of small tables with a rounded top.

The range of contemporary design furniture continues with the Romana and Modulo collections, both in solid oak. The Romana collection includes buffet furniture and sideboards with smoothed lines that adapt to any environment. In the Modulo collection we find instead a range of modular stackable containers and desks such as Treviso and Svelto.

Nest Ercol

We can also find Ercol's timeless design in the Marino, Rho upholstered collections and in the brand new Von. The Marino collection is compact and welcoming, with curved beech armrests, and the classic design that makes it suitable for any environment. Rho sofas and armchairs are completely covered, with the backrest cushions that allow you to adjust the depth of the seat.

The Von, designed by Hylnur Atlason, is finally a collection that meets the needs of a passeparout product that adapts to the home, office and hospitality environments. The Von armchair is modular and customizable. The collection also includes a square coffee table with magazine compartment, and a removable cushion bench to be used as a coffee table.
