The masterpieces of cinema, the tv series of the moment, the best sports matches ever: what do you need to enjoy them at home, just like in a cinema? Technology is indispensable, but it is not enough, because to support and optimize the functions of our advanced audio and video devices, space must be given the right architecture. What does it mean? First of all think of the most correct and comfortable layout and then choose the right furnishings to support the screen, projector, speakers and everything we are going to install to give life to our personal "cinema" area. That's right, because more and more often people choose to separate the lounge area from the area intended for video use, just to be able to equip it with everything necessary to give life to a totalizing and engaging experience. The challenge in this context is to create the right harmony of functionality, comfort and aesthetics. Because the goal is to create an environment in which technology can best express itself without style and comfort being put in the background. So let's see some useful, functional and decorative elements for our perfect cinema area.

1. Perfect acoustics

Beetle by Sancal

There is no need for invasive interventions in the masonry, nor unsightly recording studio set-ups to improve the acoustics of a home environment. This is demonstrated by the Beetle  line designed by the Mut Studio for Sancal : these are sound-absorbing panels that make the sound cleaner and more pleasant. They are ideal, even if we insert home cinema in the living room, because they are extremely decorative and offered in many chromatic variations to adapt to the style in which they are inserted.

2. What is an audio furniture?

Aura by Treku

The audio cabinet is a piece of furniture designed specifically to contain the TV screen and all home cinema accessories. In the case of Spectral 's NXS 1604  (on the cover), this translates into: housing for the soundbar, opening for the subwoofer, compartments intended for other devices such as blue ray player or game console, rear opening for cable passage, drawer for remote controls and charging cables . The support for the screen turns on itself to allow an optimal vision from different points of view. The minimal design makes it easily integrated into contexts with a different style. If, on the other hand, we prefer an audio cabinet with a warmer and more familiar style, we can opt for a Treku  sideboard: in the image, the Aura  model that alternates compartments of different colors and sizes and can be set up not only with the TV and the home cinema sound system , but also with decorative elements, books, and other accessories. A classic of the organization of "technical" areas of the house is the USM Haller system characterized by a highly pushed modularity, combined with an undisputed elegance and formal rigor. Extremely functional, visually neat and captivating, thanks to the chromed steel structure, the system adapts to a modern and characterful living room.

3. The twist

Sail by Desalto

As we said at the beginning, in the design phase of our cinema area we must never put aside the style, so let's allow ourselves some details of great furnishing impact that is at the same time functional for our purpose. An example? The Sail 302  system by Desalto  is an essential but surprising flat screen TV stand. It is an elegant and effective solution, consisting of a sheet steel structure with a discreet cable duct located on the back. Version Sail 304  is also interesting, with its central rotating TV screen support with optional shelf.
