Moormann Abgemahnt Side Table

Abgemahnt Side Table is one of the original pieces of furniture produced by Moormann that fully embodies the practical and industrial spirit of the brand. Designed by Nils Holger Moormann himself in 2007, it was created to be a comfortable place to rest alongside the sofa or to be easily transported wherever you need it.

Abgemahnt Side Table bases its style on the contrast of materials and the combination of elements. The supporting structure of Abgemahnt is a steel rod that fits together with an untreated spruce log, which gives it stability, supports a plywood top and forms a practical handle at the top with which it can be moved easily. Abgemahnt, like most of Moormann's furniture, is produced using local materials and craftsmanship, employing the knowledge of masters within a 40 km radius of Chiemgau (Germany), the headquarters of the parent company, and raw materials that can be sourced with as little CO2 as possible. Using materials in their purest form allows us to enjoy their quality for a long time, and to see them improve in appearance over time. The decoration embossed in the base gives it a more playful aspect, which breaks up and revives its essential nature.
