A triumph of art and technology, the Pedestal collection presents innovative, timeless designs. Created in 1958 by Eero Saarinen, the tables and seating with their simplistic forms are an absolute reflection of his modernist vision. The silhouettes are stripped back to a pure, sculptural and functional style, turning four-leg chair design into a single individual stand. From this principle came the Tulip chairs, armchairs and the Saarinen tables, the latter the true protagonist of the collection.
