Zanotta’s Quaderna collection, created by the Florence based Superstudio, launched in 1972. The series defined a revolutionary period in furniture design, reflecting the social context and innovation of the designers of the time. The basis for the Quaderna family was a single square top with the iconic black square print, a multi-functional geometric element which could become a chair, bed, wardrobe and stool. Celebrating Quaderna’s 50th anniversary, a desk, rug and coffee table join the series.
