Aldo Rossi
Aldo Rossi was one of the most significant architects and designers in Italian history, as well as the first Italian to have won the Pritzker Prize, the most prestigious award in the world for architecture. Born in Milan in 1931, the designer was committed to the search for forms able to create a meeting point between past and present and modernity and tradition, in a series of elementary geometric shapes defined as "archetypes". The designer collaborated with numerous famous brands such as Alessi.
Aldo Rossi was able to create some of the most intensely poetic architectural and design works of his time.
