Ebbe Gehl
With an early background as a cabinetmaker Ebbe Gehl subsequently studied furniture architecture at the Copenhagen School of Decorative Arts before founding his own design studio in 1970 with Søren Nissen, another cabinetmaker with whom he had previously trained. The duo have subsequently collaborated with many international brands and their recognisable works pay homage to their supreme craftsmanship exhaulting the use of wood as raw material in the production of distinctive furniture pieces.
