“Everything is sculpture. Any material, any idea without hindrance born into space, I consider sculpture.” - Isamu Noguchi
Isamu Noguchi was born in Los Angeles and attended Art School Leonardo da Vinci. After creating his own studio in Paris, he studied brush drawing in China and clay modeling in Japan. One of his greatest achievements is the modeling of public spaces, with the creation of interactive playscapes for children. According to Noguchi’s philosophy “everything is sculpture”, he was passionate about experimentation using several materials, from the classic metal and wood, to the most unusual stone or bone.
