Louis Weisdorf was a Danish renowned industrial designer. Louis Weisdorf was a multifaceted artist, his design was refined and extremely sophisticated.
In 1954 Louis Weisdorf graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. During his career he collaborated with several renowned Danish designers, such as Verner Panton and Poul Henningsen. In 1967 in Copenhagen he established his own design studio, working in architecture and lighting. During the ‘60s, he also designed some acclaimed suspension lamps for Lyfa: Konkylie in 1963, Facet in 1963 and Turbo in 1965-67.
