The French designer started working for the Gascoin company and became interested in Scandinavian and Japanese furniture design. His innovative flair and his constant research captured the eye of some important French personalities, and he was asked to design the modern furniture redecoration of the Elysée Palace, in Paris. The genuine and humble personality of the artist did not keep his works from being exposed in the most important collections of the world, from the MoMA to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
