Losanges I Rugs

Losanges is Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec's signature rug collection in a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic Persian rug by Nanimarquina. Winner of the 2011 Centre National des Arts Plastics award and the 2012 EDIDA Elle Déco international design award in Japan and Italy.

The Bouroullec brothers sign off on the design of a beautiful rug from the Nanimarquina collection. Simplicity and elegance combine to create a complex weave and unique style, treasured for its use of hand-spun Afghan wool. Losanges is made with a combination of 13 colors that design an intricate rhomboidal geometric pattern, the result of the skill of Pakistani artisans using the ancient kilim technique.
