The film - Eames: architects, painters, designers

"Eames: architects, painters, designers". This is the title of the film by Jason Cohn and Bill Jersey that tells the life, career and marriage of the legendary American creative couple. A duo, that of Charles & Ray Eames , who by combining aesthetics and functionality has designed iconic furnishings, redefined the idea of design and contributed to different areas of art and culture. Narrated by James Franco, the film draws on archival material, photographs and interviews.

The exhibition - Vitra Design Museum

Even if only virtually, the Vitra  Design Museum has decided to open its doors to visitors from all over the world. How? Organizing video tours that allow you to see the current exhibitions, offering short films to learn about the collection and making an appointment on the official social channels. Among the events to follow, the Live Talk on Instagram in which the museum director Mateo Kries, together with several guests, talks about new projects and discusses how design can help solve problems in times of crisis.

The docu-serie - Abstract: The Art of Design

The docu-series "Abstract: The Art of Design" explains the impact that design has on every aspect of our life and accompanies the viewer on a journey to discover the different fields of creativity and its most influential exponents. Among the protagonists the architect Bjarke Ingels, the interior designer Ilse Crawford , the graphic designer Paula Scher, the designer Olafur Eliasson and the architect, designer and professor of Cambridge MIT Neri Oxman.

The choral project - Chamber travel

Citing "Journey around my room", the famous eighteenth-century novel by Xavier De Maistre written during a 42-day compulsory stay in a room in Turin, the Nicola Trussardi Foundation launches a great choral work online. It is "Camera travel": a project in which different artists tell their home and private space with an image or video. An initiative also open to the public who can post their story on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #viaggidacamera and tagging the Nicola Trussardi Foundation

The documentary - The three architects

I tre architetti by Raiplay

Three architects, each with their own professional experiences, inspirations and conceptions, told by as many documentaries. It happens on RaiPlay with videos on Frank Lloyd Wright, Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe and Gio Ponti. To accompany the images, the voice of the historian Francesco Dal Co. Three episodes, lasting about 50 minutes each, to get a broader vision of contemporary architecture.
