Flos' 2020 innovations bring a breath of new colors and finishes that transform and make some of the company's most versatile lamps perfect. The choice of color is not a merely aesthetic passage, quite the opposite: the chromatic trends are an expression of the time we live, our desires and our moods. That's why in carrying out the development of a product, working on technology is not enough, but it is also necessary to evolve the chromatic proposal. Flos knows that for 2020 it presents a whole new palette, which is already trendy. Strong but delicate colors, ideal for bringing a touch of measured vitality to the environment. If color is the leitmotif of the dรฉcor of an environment, choosing it with care becomes a critical and fundamental step.

Blue Gray and yellow for Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby'sย  Bellhop

A dense and restful yellow that turns slightly towards mustard and a blue, fresh and reassuring gray: the new colors of the Bellhop table lamp are informal but highly sought after, and will appeal to those who want to experiment with color, evoking pop atmospheres with the filter of contemporary style, more sober and measured. Bellhop, moreover, is a portable lamp conceived as the modern version of a candlestick and therefore as an element not only bringing light but also an atmosphere, in this case relaxed and also a little playful. With an autonomy of 24 hours, the opal diffuser and the four-position dimmer, and the new colors, Bellhop is in the running to become the object of desire in 2020 (on the cover image by Santi Caleca and below image by Scheltens & Abbenes).
