Origine: the 2020 novelty by Davide Groppi
is the art of knowing how to draw light. From the incandescent bulb to the light without source, the lamps made by the Piacenza designer fascinate for their emotional and seductive power. A lot of research, a lot of design experimentation and innovation. Davide Groppi's projects are always the result of visions, intuitions, associations, stories and words.
It is from these assumptions that the floor lamp is born, a Bud of Light. More than a lamp, a solution to illuminate but also to make sense of space with light. Origine is indirect light for gardens, courtyards, for facades of buildings or for rooms in homes.
Origine, from the Latin “origo”, start, birth, source. It appears like a bud emerging from the ground and soaring upwards towards the sky, a stem that becomes increasingly thinner. Mysterious, enigmatic but comfortable, it combines the fascination of the unknown with the pleasure of a sophisticated and elegant ambient light. Origine sculpts and enhances every environment with its indirect light, which is intentionally non-invasive, graphic and fascinating.
