A restless and complex artist, who shows his personality through clear and geometric projects and objects. The designer Ron Gilad likes the opposites, such as logic and absurd, abstract and functional, and questions our perceptions. His approach to design is playful and emotional, but also conceptual, irreverent and sometimes surreal, constantly changing.

Gilad keeps his freedom and independence, but always taking into account the function, use, business and trade of his work. This vision allows him to collaborate with many companies, creating something special and recognizable for each one, with a quote from the past, an iconic element that belongs to the tradition and gives objects their own identity. Designed for Molteni & Co., the 45° tables were inspired by the cubic shape, with the angles smoothed: "I tried to cut the acute angles of a cube, which are often directed to us, to redefine and turn them inward".
