SALVATORI dal 1946 The Village - 900

From the difficulties of 2020 the The Village collection was born, a project by Salvatori, in which the participation of the design Rodolfo Dordoni, who reinterprets the house and gives it back its archetypal importance.

Using natural, resilient and multifaceted stone, Salvatori collaborated with artists from all over the world to create original and stylish miniatures that paid homage to the modern concept of home. The polychromy of marble, combined with different styles and cultures, gives life to design home accessories, which incredibly embellish the furniture. Rodolfo Dordoni participated with passion in this project, creating two models that perfectly gave shape to his concept of home as a place of his heart: for his creations he chose the name Novecento, in homage to the clear and precise lines of the homonymous movement, which are reflected in the design of its models. Making the twentieth century meant, for the architect, the drive to seek a balance between architecture, logic and design: the result was a multiform product, which takes up with marked simplicity the eternal contrast between play and rationality, dear to Dordoni.
