The String® shelf represents an affordable solution, equally easy to ship and to assemble, as well as the winning design at a competition announced in 1949, becoming a commonly used piece of furniture in the 1950s Swedish homes. In 2004 the innovative best-selling String Pocket was also introduced, a smaller version of the shelving system designed for smaller items, together with the creation of new assortments, designed to stay.
