Chester is a sofa designed by Renzo Frau and revisitated in Chester Line by Poltrona Frau Style & Design Centre. Seasoned beech wood frame; hand-tied steel springs fastened to jute belts; backrest and armrests padding in hand-shaped vegetable horsehair and rubberized horsehair seat. Seat cushion in polyurethane foam and goose down. Feet spherical (6 cm) or high (H. 12 cm) in beech or lacquered finish, or covered in leather (in the same shape of the frame) or in burnished and brushed aluminum. Bicolor upholstery in leather (base, backseat, and armrests) and fabric (seat cushion). Removable upholstery only for the seat cushion.

The collection is now completed with two curved sofas, with and without armrests, to expand the number of possible combinations: as well as being used in tandem with the linear solutions, they can be used on their own to create sinuous winding effects.
