Achille Castiglioni
Achille Castiglioni left an indelible mark on the world of design. Designer and architect, he inherited his "plastic" approach to design from his famous sculptor father, Giannino. His artistic journey was deeply influenced by his collaboration with his brother, Pier Giacomo. Their experimental approach towards forms, techniques, and materials resulted in iconic designs like the Snoopy, Taccia, Toio and Arco lamps for Flos, the Mezzadro stool for Zanotta and the Sanluca armchair for Poltrona Frau.
The Achille Castiglioni Foundation was founded in 2011 with the goal of continuing his elaborate archiving work.
