Arihiro Miyake was born in 1975 in Kobe, Japan. He attended the Kobe Design University, where he graduated in 1999 in Industrial Design. In 2002, he completed his master’s degree in furniture and spatial design from Aalto University, Finland. He travelled a lot, from Helsinki to Milan, and founded his "Studio Arihiro Miyake" in 2004 in Helsinki.
