Ilaria Marelli is an architect and designer from Lombardy, Italy, who deals with every aspect of design. She thrives on her artistic flame, and boasts a career that ranges from interior design, to teaching and strategic consultancy. Her creative mind has conceived some successful pieces, such as the renowned curved-glass Milo night stand for Fiam, or Belle de Jour, the collection of floor lamps for Foscarini that evoke the shape of a blooming flower.

Ilaria Marelli’s design core focuses on developing ideas that are emotional and experimental at the same time.
The artist is interested in the social and cultural aspect of design, and she teaches Industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan and at the Polytechnic School of Design of Milan. In 2004, she started her own Ilaria Marelli Studio, where she carries on product design and interior design works, installations, art direction and strategic consultancy. Ilaria Marelli has also created successful products and collections for important brands such as Cappellini, Nemo Cassina, Zanotta e FIAM.
