Michele De Lucchi
Designer and architect, Michele De Lucchi is one of the most renowned italian designers of the last decades. His celebrity is due to some extremely important products, among which the global bestseller Tolomeo lamp produced by Artemide in 1987, which earned him the Compasso dโOro award two years later. During his long career, De Lucchi has designed furnishings and home decors for the most acclaimed italian and european brands, such as Artemide, Alessi, Vitra, Poltrona Frau and Alessi.

His career has always been sided by constant personal research involving the topics of projectuality, technology and artisanry, and in 1990 he even created Produzione Privata, his own experimental lab, and the AMDL Circle architecture studio. Many of his works are currently exhibited in the most important design museum at a global level, among which the Centre Georges Pompidou in Parigi. In Milan he designed some Expo 2015 pavilions and the Unicredit Pavilion in Gae Aulenti square. The constant evolution of the artist forges his global celebrity.
