Nika Zupanc, a young interior designer from Ljubljana, graduates in 2000 at the Fine Arts Academy in the same city. Since that moment, her talent and her creativity bring her to the top of success with the launch of Lolita lamp, her first item produced by Moooi. In 2008 she founds her studio where she works as an independent designer and she is constantly involved in new projects that come from distinctive interpretations of modern culture and contemporary design. Her creations are part of the well-known design firms' collection such as Moooi, Qeeboo, Sé, Moroso and Nodus. She also designs tailored projects for prestigious clients like the beautiful "Room of one" installation for Dior. Her design has a strong emotional charge, characterized by what Elle USA calls "punk elegance", which raise astonishment and surprise, communicating things that "cannot be communicated".
