Le mie Donne: Domitilla Decorative Plate

Le Mie Donne: Domitilla is a decorative plate designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Ginori 1735.

Over the years, the architect has brought significant variations to the Le Mie Donne series by applying the designs to plates, jug vases and large and small oval vases. With the aim of proposing a style suited to Parisian taste, on the occasion of the International Exhibition of Decorative and Modern Industrial Arts in Paris in 1925, Ponti tries to synthesize the recovery of classicism in Art Déco. The collection includes: Donne sulle nuvole, Donne alle corde e Donne sui fiori. Donne sulle Nuvole were the first to be created and presented at the Monza exhibition in 1923. The products in the collection are unique objects, very elegant and refined decorative objects.
