Cassina launches the first complete collection of outdoor furniture at Imm Cologne
At Imm Cologne crosses the boundaries of the living and dining areas for the first time with The Cassina Perspective Goes Outdoor.
A concept, an informed and futuristic notion, a broad and detailed horizon of configurations in which the most innovative products are combined with the icons of Modern design to create authentic, welcoming and personal atmospheres.
A collection that features the new proposals of three great contemporary interpreters - , and - as well as the outdoor versions of various pieces from the LC Collection and some reissues by Charlotte Perriand.
The warm and welcoming atmospheres are completed with lighting, rugs and accessories, all studied by Cassina for the outdoors.
Inspired from the atmospheres of the 1950s, Rodolfo Dordoni designed a collection that recreates the spirit of holiday resorts: the comfortable outdoor modular sofa Sail Out is reminiscent of the soft shape of the inflatable canvas mattresses created. The same sophisticated style moves into the dining area where the Dine Out stackable chair with armrests, made of solid teak it is embellished with a rope handwoven around the armrests and the upper part of the backrest, is combined with a sculptural dining table.
Philippe Starck celebrates harmony with nature through an outdoor collection extremely respectful of its environment. Fenc-e Nature collection, including an armchair, a sofa and a coffee table, is characterised by organic materials, tactile elements and almost primitive forms.
Patricia Urquiola interprets the joy of living in the open air with Trampoline, a relaxing island with soft and playful curves. Especially the love bed becomes the hero of any outdoor space creating a convivial and scenographic outdoors.
