The beach chair has an immediate and intense evocative power: it tastes like a holiday, like an informal conviviality, like moments of well-being spent in the open air. That’s why two or more deckchairs on the terrace or in the garden can be the right solution to make them welcoming and informal. This does not mean, however, giving up style and neat and accurate furnishings. The image we want to recreate, in fact, is that of a personal and exclusive oasis, evoked by the sweet and typical curved shape of the lounge chair but interpreted with creativity, size and carefully chosen materials. Quality is a critical variable: not only because good materials are more beautiful to look at, but also because they have the ability to resist atmospheric agents and always remain impeccable. Style and quality are therefore what we seek for our deck chairs, to relax in style and give our outdoor space a spontaneously refined allure.

Bay  by Henrik Pedersen for  Gloster

Bay by Gloster

The backrest reclines to find the right perspective from which to contemplate the sunset, the fabric supports and welcomes the body at the end of the day inviting to relax, the teak structure evokes marine scenarios. The deck chair from the Bay collection by Gloster has a precious narrative potential, that’s why it is ideal in a terrace and in a garden to which you want to give an informal but refined tone and in total harmony with the surrounding nature. Bay, in fact, has the ability to integrate discreetly into the natural environment and at the same time to offer maximum comfort to those who use it.

Lawrence  by Rodolfo Dordoni  for Roda  (on the cover)

Rodolfo Dordoni interprets the classic tripolina with a contemporary vision, the folding seat, born in the early 1900s characterized by a canvas seat with pockets that fit on the metal or wooden structure. Lawrence presents a cotton towel with four leather corners that hook onto the metal rod structure. A perfect combination of classic and contemporary, essential and timeless, available in material colors so that they integrate perfectly in both the environmental and the furnishing context.

Deck Chair  by Borge Mogensen  for  Carl Hansen&Son

Deck Chairs by Carl Hansen&Son

The Deck Chairs collection was designed in 1960 by Borge Mogensen who designed it for his own terrace. It responds to the need for an outdoor furniture that was compact, so it didn't take up much space, but also comfortable. The style is Scandinavian and therefore characterized by the structure in solid untreated teak, an essence naturally rich in oils and therefore resistant to atmospheric agents. Also interesting is the characteristic of the cushion padding which is particularly draining and therefore allows faster drying in case of rain.

Garden  by Broberg & Ridderstråle for  Roshults

Garden by Roshults

The Garden chair by Roshults is a contemporary interpretation of the classic design of the beach chair. In particular, looking at the chair from the lateral point of view, you notice the square structure that also acts as an armrest: it is in stainless steel and perfectly matches with the high quality teak structure of the seat that is one with the back in a curve sinuous and elegantly decorative.

Cruise  by  Ethimo

Poetic and elegant Cruise is the seat for those who love atmospheres of the past. The structure is in teak with interesting brass details and the design is classic. Perfect for any type of outdoor context, it is available both in the most discreet natural and pickled teak and in the most gritty and very interesting chocolate teak.
