The Vitruvio lamp collection is part of the novelties of the famous Italian brand Artemide. Available in different finishes.Vitruvio is an ingenious mechanism inspired by watchmaking that allows the insertion of three metal rods inside the sphere, thus forming the structure that supports the glass globe. The movable rods open inside the diffuser and thanks to the extreme precision of the interlocking of the geometries and the balance of the weights support the glass sphere both when it is facing upwards in the given table and floor versions and when it is turned down in the suspension. Even in the diffuser the coincidence between function and aesthetics is total. The transparent glass is blown with a shape dictated by an optical intelligence.
