452 La Rotonda is one of Cassina's most successful tables and immediately established itself as a piece destined to go down in design history. Its large dimensions and the great skill of the Cassina craftsmen in woodworking enhance the sculptural personality of this unparalleled collector's piece. A simple, sculptural base reminiscent of Max Bill's work and a diagonal intersection of three square-section legs, sheared at the top. Three legs joined by an astonishing joint, made by assembling four solid wood elements for each.

Class 1935, Mario Bellini is an italian designer and architect. His creations are known all over the world and range from furnishing, to lighting and designer items. Among his greatest masterpieces the Camaleonda sofa and Le Bambole, a collection of sofas and armchairs, winner of the Compasso d’Oro prize in 1979, both realized for B&B Italia, and the 412 Cab Chair in leather for Cassina.
