Designed by Bořek Šípek
Bořek Šípek is a visionary, cosmopolitan architect and designer of Czech origin. Graduated in architecture in Hamburg and in philosophy in Stuttgart, in 1983 the designer started his own design studio in Amsterdam. In those years, he established his famous collaboration with Driade, giving life to furniture, objects and ideas of evocative originality like the Acate coat stand. The designer has thus explored the endless worlds of craftsmanship, experimenting with techniques and materials of ancient origin.
