This easily recognisable corkscrew is a witty tribute to the designer's self-portrait, which takes the form of a friendly and endearing character, ideal for opening wine bottles in style. In the ‘Liquid’ variant, the designers are inspired by street art, offering a modern and mysterious version of the famous corkscrew. The decorations are the result of a creative influence ranging from street signs to contemporary methods of data protection, giving the object an innovative and intriguing appearance. A unique detail of this edition are the phosphorescent elements, a tribute to the career as a radiologist of the father of one of the designers. These details become visible only in the dark, revealing a hidden design that reveals itself in a surprising way, creating an original visual experience. Made of chrome-plated zamak and Alkipaper, a cutting-edge biocomposite material designed to be sustainable, Alessandro M ‘Liquid’ perfectly combines design, art and environmental awareness.
