Algon Armchair

Algon is an armchair available in four versions, designed by Luca Nichetto for Arflex. It is composed of lacquered metal base, Shaped polyurethane with differentiated density and polyester fibre padding, removable fabric or leather (not removable) upholstery.

Algon is a geometric armchair, with sharp design and strong lines. It is available with high or low backrest and with linear or quilted upholstery. A generous seat and a comfortable backrest makes these armchairs extremely welcoming, an island of relax and peace, especially for the high back one, which inspires intimacy. This version comes with low backrest and basic upholstery, totally removable for the fabric version.

Designed by Luca Nichetto

Luca Nichetto is a renowned Italian designer specializing in industrial design, product design and consulting. His portfolio ranges from furniture and home décor accessories to architecture, branding and exhibitions. In 2006 he founded his own cross-disciplinary studio, Nichetto Studio, which was joined by Francesco Dompieri the following year. Five years later, he opened another practice in Stockholm. His approach focuses on a deep passion and knowledge of industrial and artisanal production processes.
