Bonaldo Alpha Chair Designed by Gabriele & Oscar Buratti

The Alpha chair by Bonaldo, designed by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti and presented at the Salone del Mobile 2026, is defined by an enveloping upholstered backrest that is the central element of the design. The volume tilts over the seat until it almost touches it, introducing an asymmetry that gives the composition an unconventional and immediately recognizable character.

The back develops with a continuous sign that accompanies the seat laterally, also integrating the function of an armrest and reinforcing the feeling of formal continuity. The overall structure is based on a rectangular-section solid wood frame with rounded corners, which guarantees solidity and precision construction.

The upholstery is available in fabric, leather or faux leather, solutions that enhance the material component and the softness of the upholstered volume, maintaining a balance between aesthetics and comfort.

The Alpha chair fits naturally into different contexts, from dining to contract spaces, thanks to its strong formal identity and ability to adapt to different design configurations, always maintaining a distinctive presence.
