Anamon Parasol

The Anamon parasol, designed by Kris Van Puyvelde for Royal Botania, redefines outdoor interaction. Its top-down opening mechanism—currently patent pending—allows easy placement next to tables or seating without tilting or repositioning. The large 300 cm canopy ensures broad, even coverage, supported by a sturdy central pole (9 cm diameter) and a 66 cm base.

A warm LED ring (2700K) is integrated into the structure, offering soft illumination as daylight fades. Power is supplied via USB-C rechargeable battery, with a visible charge indicator and an autonomy of 6 to 12 hours depending on brightness level. With an IP55 rating, the lighting system is protected from rain and dust, making it suitable for outdoor use.

A removable top cap adds a subtle touch of versatility: it also doubles as a frisbee. Attention to user experience has earned Anamon the Red Dot Award for its design innovation. A measured, well-resolved solution tailored for contemporary outdoor living.
