Arcos armchair is one of the creations of designer Lievore Altherr for Arper brand, made with a sled structure and integrated armrests in polished or painted aluminum. The structure is padded, made with a metal and plywood frame, available in fabric, leather or imitation leather.

The Arcos armchair thanks to its unique style is the winner of MetropolisLikes and Ada 2015 awards. With a retro design revisited in a contemporary key, this product is ideal for the lounge area. Arcos is designed to dialogue with the other Arper collections in the furnishing of comfortable environments where to rest, relax or socialize. The special attention dedicated to color allows obtaining a monochromatic effect between the covering and the matt metal structure that recalls the nuances of the velvet, emphasizing the discreet tone of the collection.

Designed by Lievore Altherr Molina

Alberto Lievore (Buenos Aires, 1948), Argentinian architect and designer, and designer Jeanette Altherr (Heidelberg, 1965) worked together for many years in the renowned Lievore Altherr Molina studio, collaborating with Manel Molina. In 2016, Lievore and Altherr decide to undertake a new path in Barcellona focusing on product design & development, strategic counselling, creativity direction, artistic direction and fleeting architecture for design firms well-known at an international level such as Arper, Andreu World, Vibia, Tribu and many others. With Dennis Park, one of the designers of their team, they realized Poltrona Frau Trust collection, a system of design and a system of values at the same time. The collection is composed by desks, auto-supporting walls and archiving containers.
