The lamp Bailey is designed by artisan design by Tom Fereday and produced by the famous brand Rakumba. Made in blown glass, satin-brushed brass or anodised aluminium.

The Bailey pendant is a beautiful achievement in traditional artisanal glass blowing techniques paired with minimalist design. As an exploration of the design possibilities of hand-formed optic glass molding, the light employs this ancient Italian technique to create an intricate fluted glass shade. A slim internal fitting highlights the symmetrical lens-shaped form of the light and produces an elegant glow from its center.

Designed by Tom Fereday

Born in Australia, designer Tom Fereday grew up in London, where he studied sculpture and graphic design at the Wimbledon School of Art. Later, he returned to his native country and studied industrial design at the University of Technology in Sydney. He is particularly fascinated by the tension that lies between natural materials and contemporary design and manufacture. From furniture to lighting, all his designs are the result of an intrinsic investigation into the role of objects nowadays.
