Mohd Selection Black I Painting Designed by Jaime Jurado

The Black I painting by Mohd Selection, conceived by Jaime Jurado, presents an abstract expressionist composition that introduces a considered, graphic presence to interior environments.

Rendered with mixed technique on paper and presented with glass, the Black I painting shows soft colours set against abstract shapes. The composition arranges forms that remain distinct without overlapping, yielding a unified visual field. The work’s surface language suggests a measured engagement with gesture and restraint rather than pictorial clutter.

Placed within a room, the Black I painting is suited to add personality and subtle contrast to contemporary or eclectic décors. Its scale and framed presentation allow it to anchor a wall, accompany furnishing groupings or provide a quiet focal point that enlivens circulation areas and intimate settings alike.
