Molteni&C Blevio Table Designed by Ignazio Gardella

Blevio is an elegant table designed by Ignazio Gardella and produced by the Molteni&C. brand as part of the Heritage Collection re-edition project in collaboration with the Archivio Storico Gardella. The Blevio table comes in two sizes, the legs and top are made of solid wood in Eclipse finish, the 280 cm long table is also available with a Breccia Capraia marble top.

The original design dates back about a century, in fact, it was 1930 when Ignazio Gardella drew the first draft of the Blevio table, intended for his private residence. Today, Blevio finds a new identity and has been revisited in terms of dimensions and materials to fit into contemporary spaces with character. In its simplicity, Blevio is rich in detail, a perfect synthesis of form and function. The rectangular top ends with two semicircles, emphasizing straight lines with soft curves. The varnished wood version is reminiscent of the original model, which supported a copper foil top; the Eclipse finish evokes the same shiny effect. Blevio with the Breccia Capraia marble top is a valid alternative for those who want a table with a classic profile with a contemporary touch.
