Carl Hansen & Son expands its outdoor collection with this comfortable piece, created to meet the demand to furnish outdoor settings such as a poolside, garden or luxurious resort with timeless style. The series was originally designed by the designer for his own balcony in the late 1960s, due to the need for outdoor furniture that occupied as little space as possible. To complete your oudtoor space, we suggest matching the chair with a table from the same series to create a set that can be neatly stored away when not in use.

Designed by Børge Mogensen
Danish designer Børge Mogensen is the author of a production entirely based on simple lines and clear shapes. After graduating from the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he worked as an architect in many design studios. His flair has given rise to a completely new and world-acclaimed perspective on "modern Danish".
