Botolo, designed in 1973 by Cini Boeri for Arflex, is the small armchair that has given life to a new design style.

The Botolo chair by Cini Boeri creates a new way of living the seat. Available in two heights, it allows you to choose whether to have a dining chair in its high version, or to experience it in its, at that time modern, new "low-level" style, with a seat at a height of 25 cm from the ground. The metal legs, available in white or black lacquer, are equipped with wheels to move easily. The fur lining in four colors is completely removable.

The architect and designer Cini Boeri (1924-2020), stage name Maria Cristina Mariani Dameno, is considered one of the most significant and influential female personalities in the second post-war period design. On the architectural front, her thinking focuses on the space functionality and the psychological relationship between man and his environment. In the field of industrial design, Cini Boeri has realized memorable furniture and furnishings such as the Strips sofa, the Pecorelle armchair and the Ben Ben curved sofa for Arflex, the Bebop sofa for Poltrona Frau and the Lunario table for Knoll.
