Modern vision, revolutionary ergonomics. Herman Miller has transformed the way seating and workspaces are conceived, combining design research, comfort, and technological innovation. From iconic ergonomic chairs such as Aeron, Embody and Sayl to the latest introductions, the Herman Miller catalog includes office chairs, desks, gaming seating and advanced accessories designed to enhance well-being, posture and productivity in contemporary environments.
In 1923 the Michigan Star Furniture Company became Herman Miller when D.J. De Pree and his father-in-law Herman Miller acquired the company. Soon the brand emerged as a leading voice in modern design: the arrival of designer Gilbert Rohde in 1930 introduced a new design vision, later strengthened by George Nelson together with Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard and Isamu Noguchi. Today the brand is regarded as a pioneer in furniture design and the creator of projects that have become true modern design classics.
