Horm was born in the North-East of Italy, near Pordenone, over 25 years ago. Since 1989 the brand has been characterized by his personal understanding of the domestic and contract ambient, making them warm and comfortable without excluding design. Exclusive elements with an essential and unique signed by architects and designers of great fame, made the history of the brand: Mario Bellini, Mario Botta, StH, Steven Holl, Toyo Ito, Karim Rashid, Sebastian Errazuriz, Salvatore Indriolo, Orlandini Design and Patrizia Bertolini, to name a few. In ancient Aramaic word "horm" means "sacred enclosure with right of asylum", the tradition and the culture of wood by local craftsmen handed down today is even more enhanced by the functionality and aesthetics of the collection proposal. Prizes and awards such as three Compasso d'Oro (1998, 2004, 2008) and the Chicago Athenaeum Good Design Award in 2013, consecrate the history of this great company and very Italian.
