LYFA’s creations retell the story behind decades of traditional Danish craftsmanship with timeless lamp designs, such as the Lyfa Mosaik and Ergo by Bent Karlby, as well as the latest items, with new materials and shapes. Light is at the center of the creation of unique, contemporary atmospheres, affecting our environment as well as our mood and well-being. The way we perceive our surrounding space can instantly be changed by light that either accentuates details or conceals them in shadows.
Previously known as KLLF, Kjøbenhavns Lampe- og Lysekronefabrik (Copenhagen Lamp and Chandelier Factory), the company was founded in 1903 and only in the 1930s its name changed to LYFA. Now as much as before, their designs are carefully thought to create the ideal and most comfortable level of illumination, whether it be through direct, indirect, decorative or diffused lighting. Light is the core of each creation, from which beautiful designs come to life with the use of high-quality materials.
