Penta Light MoM Collection
The MoM lamp collection by Penta Light is the result of a collaboration with designer Umberto Asnago. Inspired by Venetian tradition, it draws on the softly rounded shapes and matte finishes of Murano glass vases. The pendant lamps, crafted in borosilicate glass, create decorative and scenographic compositions. When illuminated, the light spreads gently and evenly, shaping welcoming and well-balanced atmospheres. The collection is completed by the applique version.
Shapes, light and Venetian tradition: the collection concept
MoM by Penta Light reinterprets the Venetian glassmaking tradition through a contemporary design vision, expressed in measured volumes and matte surfaces. Designed in 2016 by Umberto Asnago, the collection originates from a reinterpretation of Murano glass vases, translated into five essential shapes in borosilicate glass. Each element is conceived as part of a coherent lighting system, capable of creating balanced compositions that define both residential and contract spaces.
Matte borosilicate glass and metal: MoM lamp materials
The use of matte borosilicate glass defines the material identity of the MoM collection, offered in a refined palette that includes mustard, aviation blue, sage green, powder pink, sand, white and black. The matte diffuser softly modulates the light, delivering a gentle and controlled illumination designed to enhance the space without dominating it. The metal structure, available in matte black and gold finishes, introduces an elegant and understated contrast.
