Since 1945, Swedese has produced high quality furniture with a Scandinavian design. The manual processing handed down from the past blends with modern technologies, giving life to unique, distinctive pieces. Chairs, armchairs, tables, accessories and new furnishing solutions are the result of a deep knowledge of materials coupled with an experimental approach. Faithful to its origins, the Swedese design is synonymous with nordic minimalism, that respects the intrinsic qualities of every object.
Launched by Yngve Ekström, Swedese started in the town of Vaggeryd, in the historic province of Småland, in southern Sweden. The founder, together with other brilliant minds such as Alvar Aalto, Bruno Mathsson, Arne Jacobsen and Paul Kjaerholm has given life to a solid group of designers, ambassadors of modern Scandinavian design. For over seventy years, the brand has continued manufacturing furniture, paying special attention to contemporary needs.
